>>59538669To make high quality poffins in BDSP, there are no NPCs, it's more like solo curry cooking in SwSh but you can only do it in Amity Square and instead of NPC boosts, high friendship buddies who can walk there give you the boost. So overall easier to make good poffins if you finish off that immediate grind of maxxing friendship quickly. Also some ribbon autism: the gen 3 and 4 ribbons are unique to those games, with gen 3 having an additional ribbon for contests (artist's portrait one), although they are later all collapsed into the memories ribbon, similar to the battle ribbons. If you don't care about the gold memories ribbon, you'd just get one and the separate artist ribbon then be done, but if you wanted the gold one, you'd need to get the contest ribbons from 3 and 4 as well

I decided to take a break from reseting my Sudowoodo tree sprinkling in Heartgold and MM a Dratini as a Battle Tree win-con Dragonite in Ultra-Moon.I hatched a wonderfully shiny little bugger, but he doesn't have his hidden ability. I'll keep breeding for a dragon dance sweeper, but I'll train this little monster into a choice bander.

More than 20 years ago, I found a shiny Tentacool on my emulated Sapphire playthrough. Since I don't think there's an easy way to transfer that to Bank, I decided to breed a shiny Tentacool now in Sun (I still don't have any Gen 8 or 9 games).I have the Shiny Charm and I'm doing the masuda method but I think I've hatched more than 150 eggs, probably close to 200 and still no shiny.

Grinding up the Happiny you get handed in BDSP into a max HP and Sp.Def Blissily for Arceus by moving it to Shield and Pokenjobbing it while I do other shit.
