I still associate the buildup to the Sun/Moon release with the time when I moved to a new city and was getting situated there, starting to live like an adult for the first time. I used to play it on the bus on my way to work like a typical tendie. Meeting new people, imagining my future life, enjoying the game during the cozy wintertime in my new home. My life never improved and I'm basically a dead man walking at this point the games were so-so but ultimately did not live up to the hype
