>>59545354Gen 5 is a mixed fucking bag.It does have some genuinely cool stuff, and when it's cool it's REALLY cool (haxorus, braviary, cofagrigus, gigalith, genesect, etc) but more often than not it falls horribly flat or is outright offensively bad. This is not helped by the fact that even the cool designs are stuck with the ugly tweened animations that cause the sprites to distort horribly, and the fact that the 3D gens fucking neutered the proportions of a lot of them (not to mention the colors). Also almost everything cool evolves at stupid levels. The few genuinely awesome designs in gen 5 (which again, to their credit, are REALLY sick) were dealt a bad hand by simply being in gen 5.
