Three Rock-types were relevant this year at Worlds. Is the typing still bad?

For the longest time, I just assumed that Rock resisted itself.

Makes sense when you accept typed energy drives the attack (that's why the anime moved away from "jaws clamped on pokémon as Bite attack" except for moments of humour), meaning a set of jaws made of Dark energy should be treated as any other Dark type. I mean, we DO see that with the normal typed Slash (because normal type energy IS less effective against Rock).

The Rock types were only there because the current meta is the Y-Charizard meta.VGC will never return to a FFA rotation with some legendary bans. Enjoy your roster of like 20-40 Pokemon.No more Pachirisu kino or even the random ass team the current champion had before participating in Worlds.
