I love the Frontier but I'm not prepping for it again from scratch with gen 3 mechanics so I might get Sapphire for May's better outfit, plot pacing, and the better champion fight

I have a full set of Gen 3 stuff and I have a modded wii to rip GC discs and a GB operator to dump my GB/C/A carts. I can play these games on anything I want including original hardware and I don't even have to pirate anything to do it, my whole setup is above board and even someone like myself with the wealth of options I have available to me recognizes how nice it would be to play on my Switch 2 that I don't intend to softmod. Not only that but it shows GF that there's still interest in not only these older games in general, but this style of gameplay they've spent all this time refining. In an era where they're retroactively removing features from games, and threatening to kill the series' core turn based gameplay, rereleases like this have never been more important. Not to mention the millions of people who don't have the setup I do and can't play the game because they're too stupid to set up an emulator. It's a real demographic of people out there who would have interest in this game and are otherwise spending hundreds of dollars on price gouged original copies or even tens of dollars on shitty bootlegs because flash carts are even more foreign to them. The option to have it on Switch not even as a shitty subscription title but an actual offline, single purchase, digital copy on your system is purely a good thing.
