I don't even know where to start from the shitty Fakemons, the random difficulty spikes that force you to grind which are not even challenging just annoying and unfair to the player, the shitty dialogue, the shitty story, basically the whole game is just about being edgy as fuck and a complete disorganized mess, the developer constantly breaking the fourth wall thinking he's being hilarious when the joke has gotten old by the tenth+ time he did it, an infamous room with invisible walls that's MASSIVE and sends you right back to the beginning if you get one wrong and basically impossible for you to figure out on your own without a guide, etc...don't play it unless you just wanna see how bad it is and/or you're ultimately into hate-playing (hate-watching but for video games).

>>59578237While true, you get Koffing at level 5 in the beginning of the game and its level up moveset early on absolutely SUCKS, especially in gen 3. Until level 21 where you FINALLY get Sludge your best level up move is literally Tackle...a Tackle which you don't even get STAB from. Poison Gas and Smog are STAB moves but they're so laughably awful that they don't count, weak as hell and also inaccurate. And then Self-destruct can be good in certain situations but you faint and don't gain any exp. So at that point Weezing is basically just a slightly better Magikarp. Also hurts to see the NPCs with the cool starter Pokemon that get early STAB moves while you're stuck with trash till level 21.

Say what you want about Pokemon Snakewood but I love it because it's just so ridiculous as well as nostalgic to me. Qualitywise it's awful but it's definitely one of the more memorable Pokemon rom hacks out there. It's just sort of a complete and total free-for-all and I loved it. If I recall correctly it even had a few "Pokemon" who weren't even Pokemon but anime characters and monsters from other franchises such as Digimon and shit.
