Something I always liked about Bugsy is that being a trap was never a part of his character. Outside of 1 "but I'm a guy" joke in the manga, they never attempt to do any trap tropes with him. No being a girl in all but name. No "I crossdress because it's cute". No basing his personality over the fact he's a boy who's feminine. He's just a normal boy character that is treated no different than other boy characters. That's where I find traps truly shine

He's much scarier in gen 4, U-Turn and Technician Quick Attack actually hit pretty damn hard, and Scyther gets almost uncontested chip against your first pokemon.
