Region tower would be more difficult than type tower because units don't work as well together but it would still make for much more entertaining team building than the same but moar hp moar EX WTZHoenn is the only fucked up one just because they never release Hoenn pairs. Kanto Johto Sinnoh and Paldea (+ Unova and Galar if you squint) all have a meta strike pair and an EX WTZ setter of the same type which is mostly what mattersPhysical/Special damage split would suck but that would give them an excuse to release more pairs because there's not a lot of gaps left at this point, most types already have one or multiple EX WTZ and decent physical and special strikers so I wonder how they can generate FOMO next year

I wish I hadn't started the HSE on the last day because for once I could actually try. I have all the meta dark pairs and during anniversary my flying roster went from unserviceable after skipping two arc suits to very good.I think I could have done much more with Serena and maybe cracked top 500 but it was my first time using her and she felt kind of weird to use so I stopped once I got a good score then spent the evening grinding Falkner and Sidney.I got summer N on release because I liked the outfit and it was my first time getting value out of him so that was nice. I've always found him quite bad but this made me realize he has great synergy with arc N and he turned out really useful in that team. Using Gio in a stage without self healing was pure retardation but I could not figure out how to fit him in other teams so I still tried to make the best out of him.I also have a newfound appreciation for gym scout Winona because of how well she works with the new variety Brendan. I got two SA candies from the gym exchange for her and will definitely finish bringing her to 10/5.Basically I had fun, HSE is a good opportunity to use second-rate pairs you wouldn't reach for otherwise while not being a pure waste of time like LG.
