I just realized, with Pokémon Bank shutting down, GameFreak now has a reason to make remakes for every game up to Gen 7 as they will no longer have compatibility with Home and modern games which means Gen 2 and 3 would get reremakes, meanwhile Gen 4 probably won't because the remakes already have direct compatibility with Home what with being switch games and all. That being said GF will probably remake Gen 1 again because they can.

Some had suggested legends Johto game freak laughed him out of the room and almost fired him. Everything that would be in a Hoeen remake was in the Delta Episode.

Gamefreak only cares if the Pokemon itself is available, less then a % of the fanbase gives a shit about collecting every ribbon or regionaltism and BDSP's reveal and outsourcing should clue you in to the fact that Gamefreak would rather kill themselves then do more remakes.

BDSP was an accident that demonstrated the value in having redundancy, and also showed they don't need to spend money on remakes.
