whats the best way to make this guy the best pain in the ass he can be for an emerald playthrough? his attack is shit and his speed is even worse, so my best assumption is to use stuff like Grudge, confuse ray, sand attack and dig/hyperbeam
>>59583535>Protect (This lets you scout if you're unsure about whether they can touch you)>Status Move (I prefer toxic in this game)>Spite / Double Team>Shadow BallTo use shedinja properly you need to know movesets fairly well.If the AI pokemon cannot touch shedinja, it will switch to one that can, so if they don't switch, it means they're done. This is buggy with the move nature power, you're fine outside of caves (ghost).Do not use shedinja against weather setters, a pokemon using hail is the same as a 100% accuracy sheer cold.I like spite because more often than not, you're likely just PP or toxic stalling if you're using this, your shedinja will probably be underleveled. If the enemy pokemon has pursuit, your shedinja will die.Do not lead shedinja in normal gameplay, if you don't know what it's leading against, it stays in the back.Shedinja wins and loses on moveset and ability, it's not something that sweeps traditionally, it's a scalpel you can use as a get out of jail free card on many pokemon.
use the zoomercore hardcore nuzlocke strat of turning the entire game into a spreadsheet and referencing it obsessively
>>59584064see I thought about double team but I dont know if it would be worth investing in if he could still just get one shot on the next turn. shadow ball wouldnt do a lot of damage because of his weak stats>Do not use shedinja against weather setters, a pokemon using hail is the same as a 100% accuracy sheer cold.I thought about using goggles?
>>59584123wait shit googles are gen 4
>>59583535ProtectBaton PassToxicSwords DanceAssuming you play on SET it's a great pivot.
>>59583535As >>59584092 said, you need to make the entire game garbage but giving the player very limited options, from which only an extremely small subset of them lets you win against certain trainers, while anything else leads to a loss.
