Anyone saying they'd prefer Clefairy is pure confirmation bias because we're used to seeing Pikachu everywhere but Clefairy very rarely. If it was the other way around everyone would be hating Clefairy. Though it would be admittedly funny if instead of the Pikachu vs Meowth rivalry we had, we had the Clefairy vs Jigglypuff rivalry instead. Imagine Clefairy in Smash Bros too. Imagine all the Clefairy clones like we have Pikachu clones. What about Clefairy Mimikyu? Gigantamax Clefairy? Would Clefairy become skinnier over time like Pikachu did? All so fucking cursed but at the same time so fucking funny to imagine. Pikachu is 100% better for sure though.
