The anime is essentially a commercial for the main series games, so its dependent on the release of the games. WiWa was supposed to come on this year, but Game Freak ended up far behind schedules because they were were too busy drinking sake, raping kids, gooning to Charizard, or whatever that fuck those whores do when they aren't spreading their legs and leaking porn. Point is, its possible anipoke wants to do stuff with Kiki and Arvent but the schedule of stuff got thrown off due to Game Freak slaking off (same thing happened during Gen 2, Game Freak fucked up Gen 2 and had to have Iwata make the entire game over, hence the existence of the Ornage island arc and Johto being full of filler bullshit).
