How good or bad do you think the Portuguese localization of Winds/Waves will be?
>>59596538Good. The TCG, GO and the recent anime have already shown us how it'll look like.
>>59596538It's Brazilian Portuguese so it's the same as having an english Pokémon translation made of ebonics.
It's not the 90's and NoA aren't half-arsing it like they did back in the day. Given the english translation got better when TPC took it over (and EU Spanish, French, German, etc) as they were directly translating from source to localised language for all languages and the addition of Latin American spanish that doesn't seem to have triggered the latin spergs any, I'd guess the brazilian translation'll be up to scratch.
>>59596538Considering it's BRAZILIAN Portuguese, it's clear it will be trash.
>>59596538>huehuehue favela version of portugueseIt's shit.
>>59596538They don't translate Pokemon names so it's already good>looks over at french
>travestis and viados in charge of itIt will be shit and everyone knows it. They botch the card game hardcore there with mistranslations to the point certain packs are collected in japan for being funny/retarded.For sure they will shove in their ebonics like those disgusting rio de janeiro favelaspeak and memes, just like the US treehouse and their doge memes.
Can actual Portuguese people understand favella Portuguese? Is it like when American blacks speak their perverted form of English and no one can understand what they're trying to say?
>>59599500Yes, it's mutually intelligible similarly to British and American English
>>59599500Don't be so full of hate anon
Arctdos Lavados Zapdos= giga soul
>>59600777Go back to Africa
>>59596538Does anyone care tho?
>>59598604>as they were directly translating from source to localised language for all languagesFor the most part, all the PT-BR translations listed on >>59598565 sound like literal translations of the English localization, though.
