Funnily enough Latios and Latias prefer to sit in opposite lanes because both of their moves require last hits and you can get maximum use out of their teleport ability.

Is latias really a supporter? They seem more fit for damage dealing than debuffs/heals. If I pick them am I doing my team a disservice by not picking a supporter that heals/debuffs better or a pokemon with better DPS?

I tried duoing with good WR randoms at some point and quickly realized I don't like queueing non stop. I prefer playing 1, doing some other shit for 10 minutes then queuing again. So it's always solo for me which works great during the first 2 weeks of the season. After that, matchmaking becomes hell. I assume it's cause by then the try-hard duos and trios reached Legend and stop playing so it's mostly shitters left but who knows.

Going tank items on a Drill Peck Dodrio doesn't sound too bad honestly.
Most of your damage is going to come from the HP shred, so it's probably better to invest in items that allow you to get off multiple drill pecks in one clash.

it can basically vastly increase its basic attack speed every three seconds so no. In fact I think there's a Tox might be one of the the few pokemon whos' attack speed i(in Poison mode) s so fast that items can't make it faster, key word being "think" I don't know for sure. .

The hype seems to have calmed down a bit, so I managed to snatch some games.
High DPS, decent overland speed, but pretty shit evasion in combat.
Feels somewhat like playing Razor Leaf Deci: if you get to stay at mid range and shred, the opp team is screwed. If you're being focused, oh well.
I use XAttack very rarely, but it feels really nice on this one. Full "MUAHHAHHA" mode.

Toxtricity is stupid. It have three moves instead of two. Apparently, Overdrive have two versions that overlaps each other. You have the electric version and the poison version. If you use one of them and then use Shift Gear, your second one is already ready to go while the first one is recharging. By the time you use the second one and use shift gear again, the first one should have either fully charge or close to finishing. I only play it during solo mode and I already understand it, first game. I even forgot I had a Unite move.

It's pretty strong in its own right, but gets hard-countered by things you wouldn't expect due to each unit having its own hitbox.
Petalsaur and Goodra fully heal of of it, base Lucario gets infinite E-Speed resets off of it, it takes multiple procs from Psyduck's Disable, Azu gets faster Whirlpool healing, it's a free ult battery for Pawmot, a lot of stuff like that.
You basically either have to be the last pick in draft so nobody counterpicks you, or hope that blind pick doesn't have any nasty surprises waiting for you.
