I decided to give up after I killed some team rocket guy who did use a gun and I was unable to pick it up.
You can not get guns for a long time even if you try to loot it from the ground/corpse.

It is incredible that once you start talking that it is an ARC clone and you hate ARC like games no one can respond to this point.

I liked the real time combat, it actually lets you get your first pokemon by beating the living fuck out of it with a stick. I named mine professor stick.
