What if each anime series followed a different protagonist? Pitch your ideas.
Professor Oak after Ash leaves Pallet Town

End of the series, in an arc equivelant to the Orange Islands, NotGold goes to Kanto and challenges each gym there and learns about Ash. I don't think he'd be on Mount Silver like the edgy Red, but both him and NotGold would battle and end the series with NotGold winning the battle.Then the next series follows Brendan, son of Professor Birch, and May, daughter of Norman. Brendan would be the battler, and May would be the Contest Star. There would be two more companions, but I have no ideas for them yet. AG would end with the two winning their respective Leagues, and the two would finish it off with a battle to decide the better trainer. (Probably Brendan). Then the two would go to the Kanto Battle Frontier to challenge the Frontier Brains, and it'd be cool if Ash became an anime-exclusive Frontier Brain.The next series is Diamond and Pearl and it follows a similar formula to the previous series, with Lucas and Dawn being protags in the battling and contest roles respectively. There would be a third anime-exclusive companion with them that would want to be a Pokemon Doctor. They could do a Johto Battle Frontier arc at the end, but then it'd just be AG with a filter on. Also NotGold would appear in this series at some point to promote HGSS.Then Unova's next which should've been where Ash retired in real life, but I digress. Hilbert, Cilan and Iris (fuck Hilda) travel Unova and the series is basically just Best Wishes but written better without Ash. XY is perfect as it is, but if Ash is retired at this point, we can just put Calem instead of him and the plot works just fine. Maybe to make it interesting, the AG protagonists return in their ORAS designs.
