Gen 8 was probably the worst time to be a Pokemon fan between the dex cut, covid, and a fractured community.

I just did a eeveelutionfag team, as basic as that team theme is because type coverage and I always like Jolteon growing up, so why not. Camping was always great because it still used first person and I got to interact with all my eeveelutions that way and they were adorable. The worst part was seciding who to bench at times, but I kept everyone leveled and loved the same. Always performed very well in online raids and casual pvp. Later found out my baton pass team was banned by smogen trannies so casual is where I stopped. The build made sense to me... how do you make a bunch of mid eeveelutions viable? Baton pass shenanigans. But apparently thats too OP for smogen trannies so whatevs. That team lives on in my heart, and I miss camping with them in Sword.
