What's stopping me from throwing out a 7th Pokemon? What are these faggots going to do, call the cops?
>>59655679because you can only keep 6 pokemon in your party silly
>>59655681I always imagined my trainer OC having a ball that linked directly to the PC so that she could throw out whatever Pokemon she needed for the situation.
The Pokeballs just don't allow for it.The anime had this shown with Krabby's pokeball auto-teleporting away on its own when Ash caught it, and he having no idea what just happened.
>>59656152Even aside from that, raising Pokemon in universe is considered such a long and annoying process that your average trainer really can't be bothered running more then 3, only the best of the best can be bothered with 6. Thus even trainers who have a way to bypass that limit like Greevil or Video only do 7.

>>59656164*Vodo Auto correct keeps changing shit on me after I break the line.
>>59655679It's against the rules!!!
>>59656170that's literally been the first thing I take off in the settings when getting a new phone ever since I was a teen (29 now)
go ahead, anon. show me your seventh poké ball. the floor is yours
>>59655679Are you talking about the games or the general canon? Shudo in the official Pokemon novels said trainers are legally permitted to carry only six Poké Balls at a time due to a natural habitat preservation law first and a societal safety law second. After turning 10 years old and obtaining a Pokémon Trainer's license, a person is legally restricted to holding a maximum of six Poké Balls simultaneously. If someone were to hold more, their license would be revoked and would suffer penalties for the first offense and criminal charges the second. There have been times trainers held more than six and those were always villains/heels or professors within their ranch/estate. Actually going out and holding more than 6 on you is literally against the law in canon so average law abiding citizens don't do it
>>59656864...so you're saying in the hood, they carry 10 pokemon at a time?
>>59657279The fuck Jenny gon do?
>>59655679It's the system that keeps your pokemon logged to be summoned that keeps you from taking out 7 or even more pokemon.Proof is in Scarlet and Violet where somehow the AI system was able to create a security protocol that disallowed the use of ANY Pokémon not registered to the protocol it is a similar program that allowed you to Use Koriadon or Miraidon because it's not registered to YOU.Now what isn't explained is what made the system functioned and was basically sci-fi territory till Wi-Fi became used more.
You can't carry 7 balls, the moment you get a 7 pokemon its automatically transferred to the bill pc system, they are watching you
>>59657400Less they, more ItThrough protocol and systems checks then 1984 spying. Geeze.
I cannot begin to describe how much better the games would have been if we were allowed 7 pokemon. the rules say 6, but for the longest time, it was really just 5. you had to have someone that could learn Fly after all, which severely limits your choices of fun teams you actually want since you have to have the most boring bird ever instead of a cool giant metal snake or something. and by 5, I really meant 4, since you also had to have someone who could learn Strength/Surf/Waterfall, which I can forgive since those attacks and the pokemon that can learn them are often several times more interesting than bird #53.
>>59658029You'd just complain about not being able to have 8 or 9 pokémon at that point
