>Pokemon Legends: Arceus used A.I. to combine real-world animal traits with pre-programmed Pokemon behavior, along with their interaction with the A.I. environment>Pokemon Legends: ZA did the same, as well as furthering "narrative construction" for character interactions in an attempt to "enhance replayability">The director for Arceus and the team behind it support the concepts of "Dynamic Story Generation" and "Procedural Content Generation" where Pokemon games will rely on several A.I. engines to enhance "dynamic gaming" where hundreds of different playthroughs will offer unique experiencesHow much A.I. are you expecting in Winds and Waves? Do you feel it justifies the currently $80 price tag? Will you still buy it if the increase to $90 happens, as per recent inside memos coming out discussing the team being in favor of the increase? Will $150 Pokemon games + DLC be the new norm?
>>59656386I dunno man I'm probably gonna blow my brains out before gen 11 is even announced.
>>59656386>Pokemon Legends: Arceus used A.I. to combine real-world animal traits with pre-programmed Pokemon behavior, along with their interaction with the A.I. environmentAI didn't exist back then
>>59656401Chat bots for lonely incels =/= A.I.Unreal Engine pioneered the original A.I. and that was the late 90s.
What kind of fucking bait is this
>>59656386AI is tool./thread
>>59656386>Pokemon Legends: Arceus used A.I. to combine real-world animal traits with pre-programmed Pokemon behavior, along with their interaction with the A.I. environmentSoulless.Pokémon aren't animals. They are more like humans stuck in animal bodies.
You're a retard.
>>59656487In the original games and media for Pokemon, Sinnoh Region makes light of the fact that humans and Pokemon used to intermarry. If you account for the time period of the Japanese region Sinnoh is based on, that means humans and Pokemon married only up until about 100 years ago. It's continually referenced up until Legends: Arceus. You would be fairly correct in your theory, I just wanted Game Freak to clarify what the Pokemon looked like when they referenced that "long ago people and Pokemon were the same". They need to expand on this rather than retcon and bury it more each generation. The info is already out there, they might as well build on the story.
>>59656486Emulator is also tool. I'm going to laugh if A.I. reverse engineering makes the game available for free download on an A.I. engineered Switch patch like the Version 7.X fiasco on 3DS. Emulsion teams already got PS5 games running last week. Switch 2 emulation won't be much longer and it's the least demanding current generation system.
>>59656427>Chat bots for lonely incels =/= A.I.That's everybody here. Also chatbots are cool if you actually have a bit of creativity. I'm currently working on integrating them into an actual game and it goes a long way for immersiveness.
OP's copy of Legends Arceus sounds personalized
>>59657831Chat bots are only one aspect of A.I. use. There are still several other engines that many oppose when used in video games. The music, the characters, the over world, and many other aspects can simply be prompted and charged to consumers at $90 a pop. It's not even really a Game Freak creation at that point.
>>59656386Nu-pokemon games aren't worth a price tag period.
>>59658206Felt this way for a long time. The last games that were with the price were Black/White 1 and 2. X&Y are up there too. Black/White 2 were the perfect blueprint for how to make a sequel in Pokemon. The Switch destroyed traditional Pokemon games moving forward. Still waiting on a proper game on the current gen system.
>>59658203>It's not even really a Game Freak creation at that point. That's a good thing to be honest.
>>59658667Are we past the point that the game can be handed off to a new studio, similar to what "Halo" did?
>>59656496Are you aware which board you're on?
>>59656386retard>>59657831no one's gonna play your shitty game rofl
in this thread>people who have forgotten what AI in gaming has meant for decades>people taking OP's bait>everyone getting completely off-topic in the same circular fights as always
>>59660861The person didn't even post anything regarding their game at all. You're a grown ass adult who took time out of their life clock to type that out. Take your parent's advice. You really need to reevaluate your life. Anyways, no matter what happens with the end result of the Winds/Waves releases, people are going to reverse-engineer the games with A.I. and rerelease them in a superior form as an independent online multiplayer. Too many people are already talking about it and no one cares to fully support Pokemon Company anymore. Either that or a pixel version of the games with online emulators. The card game ruined fan support for this franchise. A.I. purchase bots are too fast, and humans waiting in line for days for cardboard are too autistic. The real Pokemon fans are at breaking point regarding financial support for the billionaires, and the PS5 reverse engineers have already shown what the future of gaming looks like in emulation. Spending $0 for a superior fan-made product looks to be the future of Pokemon.
>>59656443Epic Games company fired some of their staff and handed the assets over to the rest of their team. The new team was told to complete the game faster with their new A.I. tools. People are protesting games going into the holiday season that have anything to do with A.I. Media has been posting about this all year. Pokemon most likely won't be an exception.
