If you want huge gains from small changes, you can study values to make the colors less muddy (Use a photoshop filter to make the image/color layer grayscale, then paint over it to change most of the grays to either be closer to white or closer to black, as long as it's less in the gray middle area. (Optional but here you can also try to make these grayscale color bunches into appealing shapes that match both the lineart and the lighting.) Then use the grayscale edit of the image as a reference to update the original image's colors, making some parts brighter or darker. This should create either stronger or just more focused contrast. Ash literally just mindlessly goes"mmmmiiiistyyyy" at the beginning and his entire bedroom is full of stalkerish Misty pictures.The May slander I cannot forgive. It was funny for one second but I think the developer hates her. I can't tell if this is a parody or earnest but May is a super horny girl who keeps chasing the player and trying to make him cheat on Misty. A unique animation on the battle screen shows Misty staring at you angrily while May makes dumb faces. May just openly tells the player to impregnate her and basically all of the dialogue in her mouth is about getting fucked. She tries to fuck you in the woods, she eats a bag of doritoes found on the ground and there is a very crude "joke" involving her having something shoved inside of her that I won't repeat.
oh also they somehow made it so may's battle theme goes more and more out of sync a longer a battle with her goes...

I didn't play it so I'm not sure but some of the dialogue options do remark on how sexy she is.It KIND OF feels exactly like an early 2000s Pokeshipping fanfic that portrays May as a housewrecking whore but that's the joke here. Ash is also a little deranged and creepy about his Misty obsession throughout the game and it freaks out the other characters. So he himself is the butt of the joke. Whowever made it has a really heightened awareness of shipping autism and pokemon game oddities. Like there is an entire dialogue tree if you try to set yourself as a girl in the game, because Ash is the only playable character. Oak just gets confused why you tried to do that.
