Given Japan's and Germany's relationship (besides obviously WWII), GF should set a future generation in a region based on the latter.

1. What would the region be called?
2. What would the starter trio look like?
3. What would they base the new Pokémon on?
4. What would the villainous organization's motive be?
5. What would be good areas to pick?

Just make the game good, ok?
If they make a germany region that is as bad as Galar or Paldea, I'mma drop 10 nukes on gamefreaks headquarters.
>>
>>59657069
Or you could make a game (be it fangame or romhack) that does the region more justice.
>>
Needs:
>A serious threatening villain
>A good new original dex
>A good old dex
>Actual difficulty!
>6 Pokémon gym leaders and evil bosses
>Evil rival
>Quick tutorial and minimal cutscenes.
>Metroidvania structure instead of open world
>Acceptable art, 30fps at least, 240 preferred, and careful bugfixing.
Make them the fucking hardest Pokémon games ever made.
>>

Since Germany is know for Grimm's Fairy Tales, why not base the starters off of archetypes (Dragon, Knight, and Damsel in Distress)
Maybe Grass lizard, Fire horse, and Water damselfly nymph?
>>
>>59657063
The villain would want to get rid of all Fairy types
>>

Deutschland

Aryan

Aryan and Germanic folklore, as well as animals that are found there. Pretzel foodmon. Main legendary is Reichsadler. Evolution for Hypno named Knosall (Nose + knows all)
>What would the villainous organization's motive be?
Money
>What would be good areas to pick?
Berlin.

Make 4 villains.
One wants to genocide all fairy types.
One wants to protect the fairy types and fights the other gang.
One wants to genocide all Gen 5 mons.
And finally there is the guild of Shekelberg whose goal is making money. All of them have massive hook noses.

No
>>
>>59657134
Probopass, Typhlosion and Hypno aren't fairy types though.

What does Germany even have?
>>
>>59657063
it would have dark-type pokemon only
>>
They'd have to bring up that great war that happened with Kalos, if it wasn't with Pokéspain nor Pokéengland then it must have been with Pokégermany
>>
>>59660293
is it not implied that area zero got obliterated by the ultimate weapon and that's why it's a massive fucking crater?
i haven't played a pokemon game since ultra sun

What are GameFreak's rules for naming new regions (ignoring Kanto)?

>I'mma drop 10 nukes
Hi Jeff.

Great cultural diversity (not talking about the migrant invasion shit). Germany as a national entity only started to exist two centuries prior, compared to other nations like France or UK existing far longer. Meaning before that, you had thousands of city-states, kingdoms and the likes existing, each with their own rules ("Flickenteppich"). >>59660293 Perhaps there was one united nation before, but it split up when the Ultimate Weapon was used and the aftermath following it. Which continues to date. In a Germany-based region, this could be incorporated as each sub-region or city handling several aspects of a trainer's journey differently (e.g. aside from the traditional Gym system, there are other forms like the Alolan Trials thrown into the mix).

>>59657112
>Since Germany is know for Grimm's Fairy Tales
This. Dragon and Fairy Types (Ghosts too?) would have a field day.

>>59660299
Area Zero was formed 2 million years ago due to seismic shifts, meanwhile the Great War was only 3 thousand years ago. Look up Bulbapedia. So, no.

>>59660167
>*had
A lot, which is slowly but steadily replaced and eroded by modern politics.
>>
Revavroom (Panzer)

You start down in Bavaria

It's not just Germoney, but mostly Austria and mountainjewland too

Evil team wears white and red, with black accents but they're not Team Rocket

>What would the villainous organization's motive be?
Multiple organizations. Maybe just two opposing teams like Aqua and Magma, or even more to represent the complex politics of such a pluralistic society. Unification vs. Segregation (one team striving for [German region] to become the great power it was in the past (including imperialistic ambitions possibly igniting a war again), meanwhile the opposite tries to protect what is (including the problematic status quo that comes with it). Tradition vs. Modernity ([German region] being a region where great technological advances originated from (reminder that everyone important at Aether is based on Germans). This however also comes with a conflict between those striving for technology to be more powerful than pokemon, and those wanting to keep the harmony and cooperation with pokemon alive (I know, I know, sounds like Delta Episode all over again; alter some points then).) Technically and lazily basing it on the Political Compass.

>>59660167
Industrial districts, Factories
Warfare/Military themed area
Farmland
Castles
Grimms fairytale forest
Bayern
Mountains
The most realistic evil teams would be Islamists and LGBTQ+, but that's lame and ruins escapism. Make it something fictional instead.
Maybe roman legionaires from the south.
Or businessmen trying to sabotage and then buy up the country.
Or just mountain barbarians.
Maybe black knights.
>>
>>59660776
>evil team are the good guys
>>
>>59657063
They'll ruin it by filling it with nasty browns. No thanks, this franchise has long since been cucked.
>>
They would make the Champion a foreigner again like they did with Galar and Paldea.
>>
>>59661531
and that's a good thing :3
