We've never had more resources or avenues to create them. We also have breakthroughs in how many colors GBA emulators can display, almost unlimited followermons and how many regions/buildings/routes/doors can be in a GBA game. I expect all existing official games to have more features added or restored soon. If ai evolves enough, dexit, poor code, bad animations and awful textures are over. The implications for creating mega games with many regions alone (never mind combining completely different games ala pokemon and minecraft in 2d despite it looking underwhelming so far) is nuts. I would not have believed any of this was coming even last year. You ever hear about kids who thought they could make two cartoon characters meet by putting in two dvds to the player at once, or maybe you did that? This feels just like that. I think we may finally be out of the dark ages of Pokemon. Mega mainline and pmd games were always my dream. So was a revival of the ranger and ranch series. We have a great new editor for ranger and a vibecoded brand new ranger fangame now. I used to have many dreams as a child about a fusion mystery dungeon game, and it seems like a 3d fusion mainline pokemon game is not far away either. Ive wanted to get euthanized since 2012 due to health issues. Maybe it was somewhat worth it to stick around. The switch era was so painful. Please let bad pokemon be done. Holy shit.
