The reason I want one is that I caught a Kadabra (my favorite pokemon since I was a kid) and I invested a lot on him, I've almost maxed out his buddy status and spent a lot of rare candies making him stronger. Only later I found out about IVs and when I went to check his, I saw they were trash. Since then I've caught a max Abra with almost perfect IVs and I thought I'd focus on evolving him, but now I'm emotionally attached to the trash Kadabra and don't want to replace him as my main buddy. I maxed that one out before I realized that their stats were exactly the same! So after I spent all that XL candy with that I maxed out this one. Sometimes the story you find with the mon is more important than its stats my man
