>>59675018Thank you to your response Anonymous!I agree there is a certain degree of postmodern failure inherent in generation 5 though I confess I have not played it. I see a lot of similar problems in generations 3 and 4, where the essence of Pokemon appears irretrievably lost. Perhaps it’s just three eras, with Gen 3 - 9 on the same.Keen for your thoughts! I'm struggling to pick between eras 1, 2, and 3. I really like all of the games in that period.Wouldn't a poal have worked better for this? It would require less effort on the part of any responders.
