If you didn't know, Masuda was fired upwards from Gamefreak and put in money laundering duty a theme park assignment as part of "creativity office". When he wasn't defending Gamefreak's creative ideas through patent warfare, he was building this theme park. So, the park is finished. And it is utter garbage. Even the shill who pays bills with TPC money can't defend it:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEUl_hGf-x4>park built in bumfuck nowhere JP to spare costs>tiny>no shade, so you may have a heatstroke if you visit in a sunny day>you are bombarded with gacha machines everywhere>all the toys are low supply and paper thin, so Masuda saves money and encourages scalping>some russian girls crying because they went all the way to bumfuck nowhere and discover they can only buy entrance tickets online, so they are locked out of the park after arriving because FUCK YOU, THAT IS WHY. POOL IS CLOSED>cheap ass KANTOOO statuettes spread around the barely maintainted grass>only attractions are shops and taking pictures for social media>influencer baiting>basically a microcosm of what this franchise has becomeVery likely Masuda just pocketed half the budget for this park.
>>59675117>no shade, so you may have a heatstroke if you visit in a sunny dayCharizard can't keep getting away with this.
>>59675117>you can take the gondola and travel 15 km to get to the park located at the cheapest parking lot Masuda could find>discover they don't sell tickets at the entrance, so thanks for the money and enjoy the gondola ride homeSmall indie studio.'You bought it anyways' experience.
>>59675117>gondola is very humidImagine the smell during Summer when all the american tourists trashing Japan come to visit. It'd not be Masuda if you didn't have to partake in three humiliation rituals only to arrive at a gacha park that is a glorified ad.
Nips like it. And the more touristfucks stay away, the better.
>>59675117>you have too pay for special rides separately or buy a special premium pass + park entrance + travel costs + tip>ace trainer passJesus Christ.
>>59675117KANTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOlandSomeone drop a nuke on that shitstain.
you will never be japanese >you are bombarded with gacha machines everywhere something common in japan
>>59675117who cares japan just consoom
>>59675117>>you are bombarded with gacha machines everywhereThis is actually a non-issue for anyone who has been to Japan. You will be literally bombarded with gacha machines in the fucking airport on your arrival to Tokyo. There are gacha machines in the waiting areas of some chain restaurants even. They even have them on the side of the road of some streets randomly. Just like how people are amazed at how vending machines are everywhere in Japan, gacha machines are everywhere too. But people just kinda ignore that lol.And yes, they have a gacha for fucking everything. Even literal AI slop. So this point is very moot, it's just Japanese culture. They can't stop gambling. Same with Koreans and Chinese, it's like baked into their DNA. And yes, the west is of course addicted to gambling as well, but it's on an entirely different level in Asia especially when culturally they think of "luck" as a skill you can somehow improve with time. That through "hard work and perseverance" you can become a lucky person. Hence the reason it's so heavily used in JRPGs as a stat. That's also why gambling is straight up fucking illegal in Korea, China, and Japan (though of course they just make funny workaround like fucking PACHINKO); and why casinos in Vegas cater to Chinese tourists with giant gold dragon iconography and lots of red colors (good luck).Anyway, as shit as the park is, this complaint is a very "westerner culture shock" kind of point rather than a legit complaint. There will be gacha machines at any event/theme park you go to in Japan. I'm almost surprised convenience stores don't fucking have them desu. But sometimes they're outside of them, so...
>>59675186omg I need the Tung
>all japan parks exist just for sell merchwow what revelation
>>59675186>I'm almost surprised convenience stores don't fucking have them desu. Oh but I forgot they DO have Ichiban Kuji, where you buy a ticket to pull a fucking letter from a box and get a prize based on your letter (always shit, thanks for playing!)
>>59675211
>>59675211Chi-chi UUOOHHH
>>59675117>So, the park is finished. And it is utter garbage. That's literally any theme park ever but that won't stop depressed 30yos from going there and visit those 4-5 random houses that sell chinese toys inside
The online only tickets for themed museums/attractions is kinda common. Gaijin always fall for that trick
>>59675275Yea. I'm sure the park is shit, all theme parks are (even Disney, fuck off). But most of the complaints really do seem to fall into the "I have no fucking clue how Japan works and I'm angry I refused to do research prior" category of retardation.
they are making another
>>59675117That sounds like the average theme park, never understood the appeal
>>59675117But what does Mista Merrikkuu think about it?
>>59675117Shannon
>>59675323Watch the video. There are three rides in the entire park, and you need to pay separate for them. All the other "rides" are just advertisement or straight up shops. The entire thing is a big scam.Masuda is probably laundering a massive amount of money through this scheme.I refuse to believe all these consoomers are really mindless enough to give money to him.
