Why are so many Pokemon fans terrible at Pokemon games?
>>
why do you make such shitty threads
>>
Because the games are made for retarded children, so they're so easy you can beat them without even beginning to understand what you're doing.
>>
>>59683182
these are the same people who think “XY is too easy even for pokemon” btw
these are the same people who think gen 5 has a “perfect level curve” btw
these are the same people who think “SV needs level scaling or else it isn’t really open world” btw
>>
>>59683189
i think xy is too easy for pokemon and i also think the johto level curve is a near nonexistent problem THOUGH
>>
>>59683196
>near
you’re bad at pokemon games
>>
>>59683189
>these are the same people who think “XY is too easy even for pokemon”
And those people are right about that.
>>
>>59683203
>these people who have 30 IQ are right abou-
Nope.
>>
>>59683196
This anon gets it.
>>
>>59683205
>is bad at pokemon games
I don't think he does, actually.
>>
>>59683182
I can play SoulSilver right now, give me a firm list of issues to deal with to prove that they're not issues. Explain it to me like the last mainline Pokemon game I played was Red.
>>
>>59683182
Reminder that Tama is a Bluesky pedophile
Her opinion is irrelevant.
>>
>>59683239
Nearly every poketuber is a a pedophile. That’s what happens when you have a franchise made by pedophiles and a fanbase obsessed with raping ten year olds and animals. Tama at least plays the games and knows what the fuck she’s talking about most of the time
>>
>>59683182
and then these same dumbfucks will try to convince you that "umm actually I-I'm not complaining about the level curve because the game is too hard the problem is actually th-that it's too easy! I'm not a retard I swear!"
>>
>>59683182
The majority of Pokemon fans are a collective of females and fags who are in it for brand name and its popularity.

Pecha Berry could have been equipped to a Scyther, never got used, and then after it evolved it will NEVER activate so it's just on there forever until the player consciously checks held items (which is pointless outside of competitive)
>>
>>59683182
HGSS is the one game where you HAVE to solo with your starter if you don't want to autistically grind because the retards at GameFreak didn't account for rebalancing the game now that Stat EXP's been replaced with EVs and badge boosts no longer work the way they originally did, and even then you need to ditch your starter as soon as you beat Morty so you can catch a Level 50 Magikarp and turn that Gyarados into your new main.
>>
>>59683319
Oh brother this one always gets me
>>
>>59683367
>HAVE to solo with your starter
my nigger you are bad at the game if you can't go in a little underleved and still beat the league

That's basically starter soloing, guest starring a trade evolution.
>>
>>59683196
I think XY is too easy for pokemon and I also think the Johto level curse is a problem since it too makes the game too easy as well
>b-but muh clair muh red
badge boosts btfo them regardless and for the entire rest of the game you're just bullying severely underlevelled NPCs because the game stops progressing while also handing out free nukes like the red gyarados that is literally over five levels higher than the entirety of the rocket hideout you can only access after encountering it
>>
>>59683363
anon, how do you evolve scyther?
>>
>>59683367
Kek, what cap.
>>
If I'm being honest here I want to do a playthrough of HGSS with a Meganium and tell everyone on this board that they suck at Pokemon games.

Biggest obstacle of course is my apathy towards the franchise and therefor my reluctance to play any of the games.

Please consider killing yourself

on my last hg run I was using Bayless and quilfish, but I don't remember the rest of my team. I think I had a flaaffy one there. Got up to ecruteak before I lost my cartridge.

>JOHTO IS BAD BECAUSE ITS TOO EASY
>ITS TOO EASY BECAUSE…. ITS TOO HARD
>ITS TOO HARD BECAUSE I HAVE TO GRIND FOR A COUPLE HOURS OUTSIDE OF THE E4 AND I DONT HAVE ACCESS TO THE MOST STRONGEST TMS IMMEDIATELY
>AND I DONT EVEN GET THE STRONGEST POKEMONS UNTIL THE POSTGAME???? WTF????

Imagine if this level of scrutiny was applied to any other pokemon game
>>
>>59683460
This anon gets it.
>>
The "bad" level curve is the reason Whitney's Miltank became a meme because you are fighting a fast, bulky, and relatively strong Pokémon at level 19. Shame other Johto leaders are not like that. A fucking Piloswine instead of Mamoswine....
>>
>>59683182
why did she make her pngtuber avatar fat?
>>
>>59683377
hi kojo
>>
>>59683182
Wait, the level curve thing was about certain fights being too hard due to being outleveled by NPCs??? Have these people tried not skipping trainers?
>>
>>59683651
Instant gratification and quick dopamine hits have fried their brains. Look at the rom hack community; they want both forced level caps (because being able to level up if you somehow have trouble is the "wrong" way to play) and they want an infinite Rare Candy item in the bag so they can skip any actual Pokemon training.
>>
>>59683640
It can’t be kojo because kojo only uses his starter
>>
>>59683547
Probably because it'd be fatphobic for the faggots on Bluesky.
>>59683681
Nah, that is 100% a kojo team.
>use your starter for 90% of the run
>occasionally level other pokemon so it doesn't look like you're only using your starter (just ignore the fact that the starter's usually like 10-20 levels above the rest of the team please for the love of god and arceus don't look at the starter)
>>
>>59683182
Because they started with Gen 5+ where the games hold your hand and run on easy baby mode.
>>
>>59683182
I would love to see the average Pokemon shitter play a Kaizo game or Run & Bun

SV DOES need level scaling. The game would still suck eggs even with it, but at least the core experience wouldn't be a joke.

if someone wants to stomp the game by farming nonstop just let them be

>>

You'd have to either be very new to JRPGs or a complete retard to struggle with any pokemon game.
>>

Literally true
>these are the same people who think gen 5 has a “perfect level curve” btw
Never heard anyone say this. It has a good exp formula but the level curve, especially mid game is bad.
>these are the same people who think “SV needs level scaling or else it isn’t really open world” btw
I mean it'd be way more fun if weaker gyms scaled up.

the problem with hgss is that it's fucking easy not that it's hard. the level curve sucks because the game is a 0 difficulty slog on the slowest gen engine wise. the real problem is trainer teams. some of the gym leaders are actually nerfed from crystal, it's unreal. yada yada all pokemon games are easy but that's not exactly true, is it? even with some minor restrictions like playing full 6, no items and set and you can actually have fun and make tactical decisions. hgss is just boring slop. its aesthetics are incredible though and that's all people ever remember or care about i guess.
>>
>>59683892

Look at the results of Daily Red and Daily Blue. It gives a random team of 6 fully evolved level 100 mons (with a clear bias in favor of high BST mons like Ttar and Kingdra), with competitive movesets full of coverage and hold items to fight Red and Blue’s pokemon from HGSS and FRLG (also at level 100). There is no level curve, no grinding, no resource management, no limited TMs, no distractions, no tedium, no shitmon like Delibird, and you have infinite trie with a entire day to beat it. Also the daily Res almost ALWAYS gives you a ground type to lead with for Pikachu for really it’s a 6v5 in your favor. AND the game gives several tips about match ups. Also it doesn’t matter how many Pokémon red or blue KO’s, all that matters is you beat them.

And guess what, every day only about 50% of people who attempt them can do it (a few days close to 60%, many days as low as 40%). Put it another way. the Pokémon fandom got an F on the easiest open book test on the basic mechanics of the game.

These are the people shitting on HGSS.
These are the overwhelming majority of the Pokémon community
These are the people making pokemon content
These are the people game freak panders to

You now understand why Pokemon fandom is so shit
>>
>>59683931
There's like three different Daily Red games. Are you talking about the one with Hard mode? That one is actually bullshit depending on the day.
>>
>>59683936
No I’m taking about this one https://daily-red.com/ though I’ve seen the hard one you are talking about. The results for that one are probably in 15-20% at most

They're factually correct. You can easily compare the contents of XY, like battles and dungeons to other games and reasonably conclude that it'd be easy.
>>
>>59683208
What makes you think he's bad?
>>
>>59683239
Isn't she hyper conservative? Why'd she be on Bluesky?
>>
>>59683763
you know sometimes i think pokemon's difficulty (or lack there of) is part of its strength honestly
the upside of the games being piss easy is that you can beat the games with whatever damn pokemon you like, whichever ones are (You)r favorites can beat the game even if it's a fucking luvdisc
every time i see a kaizo or difficulty hack it's like every single gym has an autistically composed team designed to have as few weaknesses as possible, meaning you're likely throwing away your whole team every gym to find the "correct" answer since you're likely contending with level caps and whatever bullshit hack devs like to do like perma weather for gym leaders
and at that point just play paper mario sticker star
>>
>>59683973
>you know sometimes i think pokemon's difficulty (or lack there of) is part of its strength honestly
>the upside of the games being piss easy is that you can beat the games with whatever damn pokemon you like, whichever ones are (You)r favorites can beat the game even if it's a fucking luvdisc
I've been saying this for fucking years holy shit. Pokemon's "hard mode" is just using shitmons
>>
>>59683367
You don't need to grind. Using a full team you'll likely be late 30s or early 40s (possibility of a level 45+ legendary). That's actually pretty good for the E4 who start as low as 40 and climb up to 50.
>>
>>59683973
>the upside of the games being piss easy is that you can beat the games with whatever damn pokemon you like
Exactly. People criticizing the pre-Gen 6 games for being "too easy" are playing the wrong franchise for the wrong reasons. 3DS-era onward, sure. The games could already be beaten with virtually anything; there was no (good) reason to make them easier.
>>
>>59683983

No. You’re just low IQ and your opinions shouldn’t be taken seriously.
>>

I started there and don't see the problem

>>59683791
>beat Grusha ten levels under him.

If the weaker battles at least scaled upwards, it'd be fine.

why can't game freak just make the shitmons stronger so that that in game trainers can be stronger?
>>
>>59684016
because then you wouldn't have built-in difficulty options + if every pokemon was around the same power level that would be really fucking boring
>>
>>59684025
some pokemon being gimped shitters that exist to make the shillmons look better is more boring though
