Which game is objectively superior?
>>

Doom
Duke's a shitty clone
>>
Doom walked so Duke could run.
>>
Duke3D changed my life
Doom is only a great game
>>
Zoomer pretending to be boomer answer = Doom
Actual boomer answer = Duke
>>
Doom=better gunplay
Duke nukem 3D=better level design

Blood
Duke3D feels like an euro platformer trying to be DOOM. The weapons all suck, the main character is tryhard and the enemies are random. The levels are the lamest bullshit ever. Its like they thought up the character but couldnt think up of the game.

Doom gunplay+duke nukem 3D level design=Blood

I never really took to blood, should I give it another chance?
>>
>>12586236
no serious person actually thinks puke nukem is better
>>
>>12586236
duke has always felt like the better game to me, in basically every way
>>
>>12586236
Duke obviously. Doom is the most overrated and overhyped dogshit ever made.

Doom and Duke3D are cartoonish and kiddy. Aliens/Demons invading and shit. Call of Duty brings home the real horror of war in a visceral and serious experience

Douk3D on a Sega is better than Doom on PSX
>>
>>12586236
Doom Nukem II-D, of course
>>
>>12586236
Doom is the better game. Duke 3D has more personality and its level of interactivity never gets old but I feel the gameplay itself isn't as tight with many gimmicky weapons and hitscan encounters that never feel as varied as the best moments of Doom
>>
I really appreciate Duke's more believable and interactive environments. But I think Doom's core gameplay is more consistently strong.
>>

It's the pinnacle of 2.5d sprite based shooters, yes you definitely should.
>>
>>12586236
I would say Doom, in Duke the levels are too complex and it's easy to get lost, also the enemies are too difficult.
>>
Duke nuken forever exists for a reason

>in Duke the levels are too complex and it's easy to get lost
Huh? I tended to have a much easier time figuring out where to go in Duke compared to the literal mazes in Doom's The Shores of Hell.

The one which doesn't have across-the-map insta-hitscan enemies.
