Budokai 3Balances being a good dragon ball game and actually not being a cluster fuck to play.
Budokai 1 is the only Dragon Ball game in existence that I like. The way that game plays and how the story mode is literally just a chopped down version of the anime remade with in engine cutscenes is literally the only fucking thing I want out of a Dragon Ball game but they refuse to just do that again.Tenkaichi 3 is commendable for having literally every character ever but actually playing it sucks.

>>12592468This, wish they had just kept going w the story mode like this game instead 2 introduced some stupid chess board thing. Dropped the series after that. All the gameplay seems to be the same so having a new storyline like the 1st was the only reason I got the second to have more of that and they decided not to go that route so I decided to not buy anymore of them. Still my favorite dbz game because of the story mode.
1. Budokai 3, for the same reasons as this anon >>12592453. Genuinely don't understand why they didn't make a fourth. I didn't find out about Infinite World until long after it came out, and from what I can tell its a downgraded 3 but with a few more characters?2. Budokai 1. The greater emphasis on the what ifs and that Mr Satan challenge mode were great. Plus the art style reminds me more of a Dreamcast/arcade fighter in comparison to the cell shaded look of 2 and 3. 3. Legacy of Goku 2, comfy GBA title with nice progression. Also the choice of the devs to only make Goku playable right at the end pays off really nicely.
Budokai 1 and those two dbz rpgs for the gba where really good.
