Thoughts on /vr/ era Naughty Dog?
Crash games were coolCrash Team Racing was great I was never interested in Jak and Daxter
Crash 1:very goodCrash 2: amazing one of the best 3D platformer everCrash 3:great but less focused Crash team racing : imo the best racing game of all time, absolute masterpiece Jak 1: fun and charming i like it a lotJak 2:oh boy the beginning of the end for naughty dog , awfull hub world and boring gunfight, try way too much to be edgy and lost all the charm of the original, there are some good section here and there but generally a pretty painfull experience i don't want to replay it ever againJak 3:pretty much on par with Jak 2,i find it slightly better just because there is less car circulation in the hub world Jak racing:never played it,look médiocre afPS1 era Naughty dog: one of the best studio of the late 90'sPS2 era Naughty dog : extremely disappointing, prefer to follow trends than making fun games
They started making great games with Crash 2 and stopped making great games with the release of Jak 3.
>>12594352I think you mean Jak 2
The real question is: Keef the Thief or Dream Zone?
>>12594356No, at the time and on a recent playthrough confirms Jak 2 is fun. Jak 3 is boring and was clearly just them prototyping Jak X racing rather than an inspired game choice.2 is unfairly hated for being a "GTA clone" and the city just being a connection of mission contacts. It's probably the best of the many games that wanted to do something like GTA.

crash 1 is a joke and typical westoid garbage so I stopped right there and nothing of value was lost
>>12594843https://files.catbox.moe/6o8ote.mp4You already got raped and gaped zoomer
>>12594848>muh cope and seethe responsenot watching and dont care, crash is the definition of mid
I was honestly kind of devastated when jak 3 concluded with virtually no jak 1 fan service. no surprise character appearances. no gol, and maia. just a dead world besides the 4 main characters that went through the portal. even took a step back making kiera a mute. I get the sense more people came into the series with II then played the first game.
>>12594863*than played the first game.
>>12594867I don't think so, jak 1 sold 4 millions ,Jak 2 was less than 2 millions Naughty dog must have been pretty disappointed with the sales of the series, despite the bigger user base the Jak serie sold way worse than the Crash games
>>12594843It's kinda weird how they went from making basic point and clicks to the forefront of PlayStation development in 10 years (largely faking Crash Bandicoot with level streaming and the camera angle and all they jank.) And now they're basically code snobs who only hire the best and most experienced programmers to work in-house in development.
naughty dog wasn't good until uncharted, their /vr/ all sucks ass.
>>12594245I didn't see any point in playing 3D platformers beyond Mario 64 and Banjo-Tooie.
