>>12596554I love the vibe of Klonoa. A lot of N64 games have a really clear, colorful, minimalist art style. Their textures were simple and cartoony and it made N64 games read really cleanly, while a lot of PS1 games tended to use the extra texture detail and size capabilities to have really noisy, detailed textures, that sometimes made games busy and noisy. Klonoa is nice and minimalist, with lots of blank parts of geometry and minimal textures, an amazing color palette and big, chunky shapes.It's just a really nice game to look at and the mysterious and whimsical dreamy music makes it a sort of playful and surreal adventure.
