What are the best Star Wars retro games overall?

I would even use the GCN attachment to play it on the TV and pretend I got the "cool" 3d version of the game instead of the 2d beat em up. I was an adult before I realized that the gba version was actually the better game overall.

A biy unpolished but I spent more time on rebllion than any other star wars game. The fleet combat is rebel hit and run with fighters, while empire js about "more big ships win", but sending in hero units like Han or Vader to fuck up enemy shipyards and other facilities is great.

>>12597303Episode 3 on the GBA/DS is a really fun beat em up. Only difference between the versions is that on the DS you also had these 3D spaceship sections in between the 2D levels.

Another great one is Star Wars Episode II: The Clone Wars, also on the OG Xbox. Your Mother didn't see me for three days straight after a work buddy let me borrow that one. Those were the days.. the newer star wars games are kinda gay ass. Don't care for them
>>12598593Juat a note on rebllion, it came with a 170 page manual and was non-inuitive, especially how shipyard and planetary development works. It makes you really appreciate quality of life improvements over the last 2 decades for games like stellaris. You have to put on your 1997 googles to enjoy rebellion. People either love it or hate it.
>>12598105Pretty much anything with Kyle in it is top tier. I still think Dark Forces 1 feels the best to go back to, especially with TFE. SotE also doesn't get enough love because it filters zoomies with how it handles and its camera.
