Starters are training wheels. The game is a lot more fun and challenging when you don't rely on them. I always drop mine off in the PC the second I'm allowed to catch something else.

Lunatone is a boring design. I like the rest though. Even Blaziken even though he looks a bit goofy and could have looked a lot better with actual bird clawed feet. As he is now he looks like he has long pants on kek.

Solrock not being a Fire/Psychic or a Rock/Fire type was a missed opportunity imo, especially since he has access to offensive fire type moves as well. It could have helped Hoenn's glaring lack of Fire Types atleast.

Doesn't it also have Camerupt and Torkoal? Its only two but they were still quite fun mons with great designs and I remember them both being pretty good to use. I think the Hoen designs were an improvement overall compared to the gen 2 designs.

Oh right. I often don't think of the older mons in Hoenn though when thinking of the Hoenn mons. That is why I said I thought gen 3 designs were better than the gen 2 designs overall.
