I just bought this impulsively at a pawn shop the other day. After tax, I paid $49 for it. What should I play with it? I already played a ton of Metal Slug and a few shmups. Also the most normie fighting game in the world because I suck at fighting games: Marvel vs Capcom the first one. Give me some recommendations. Also was it a good deal for $50? I bought this cheap one because I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be using this all the time, but I still wanted to try it to see what it feels like.

The only fighting game ever that controls better with an arcade stick is Virtua Fighter, especially if you try to main Akira.

Anything else? A bog standard xbox controller is better.

How many Super Street Fighter II Turbo tournaments have been won on a pad?

The only ST player who has won a major tournament on a pad is SnoopyGlobal, who won Combo Breaker 2025 using an 8bitdo SN30.

Got this one 2 years ago.
It is a blast. I recommend playing CAVE SHMUPS with XBOX360 or MAME.

The only games I end up using my arcade stick for is 6 button fighters (street fighter).

Ive got that 8BitDong fight pad also but I swapped the joystick out for a Sanwa with a 10lb spring and a hexagon gate. Feels great. The buttons are fine, they get the job done. Id prefer concave buttons rather than the convex ones it comes with. But its fun for playing retro stuff on my living room PC.

It cost $45 and after tax I paid $49. Slightly under $50. What are you fucking retarded?

When I said I wanted to try it to see what it feels like, I am not trying to imply that I've never played an arcade before. I used to play metal slug all the time as a kid. I just wanted to see what it feels like to use an arcade stick on my pc.

If you want to get good at stick, you shouldnt just use it for stick games. You should use it for every game that doesnt use dual analog sticks
so every game ps1 and earlier can be played with it and some games in gen6 that use the dpad instead of stick too

I would add that it takes quite a bit longer than people often say it does. Minimum 300 hours for native feeling imho.

It's not enough to just read the words. You have to comprehend them, too.
