I like them all about equally, in terms of the classic entries. I will say that 6 is the absolute peak of classic MM soul, though. The music and settings in particular have this bittersweet feel to them, like the game is addressing the fact that it's the end of an era for the MM series, and that the NES itself was in its twilight.
