There is almost no Japanese culture anywhere in this. It's basically Medieval Europe with some Cyberpunk elements. Great art is supposed to be about its artists. Great european art is european. Great chinese art is chinese. It's only the Japanese who have no originality, whose whole purpose is trying to copy Americans.
