Don’t call me a cunt but how do they manage to get ragdolls on the ps2 of all things

>>12611730I'm guessing ragdolls aren't particularly expensive to compute. Dave Mirra BMX on the PS1 had ragdolls although simple they were obviously real time. Max Payne 2 was actually ported to renderware for consoles to improve performance so the Xbox and PS2 versions ended up running really smoothly even better than the first Max Payne while looking better too.
>>12611730That ain't shit. Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy used Havok Physics engine on the PS2.
>>12611992How?
>>12612148>Picture/Image of a game's box/boxart>OP text is one of the 5 W'sNiggerjeet's been at it for months now, nobody knows why he's using /vr/ to farm engagement but it's assumed he's having entire threads mirrored over on twitter or bluesky.
>>12611730C U N TUNT
>>12611730Buddy, It uses Havok to handle physics, just like Destroy all humans, Half life 2, Splinter cell CT and >>12612105https://list.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_games_using_HavokGeneric simulation compared to Shadow of the colossus. So there's not impressive about the Max payne ragdolls.

>>12611730You played the PC or Xbox version. The enemies would just drop to the ground in the PS2 version.
The ragdolls were probably the ultra low version where there's maybe 10 moving parts but they are there. Either way the port is extremely bad, ultra low texture quality, ultra low physics, still frame rate problems and levels split in parts + it forgets to autosave in the beginning of each level.I mean we played it as kids if we didn't have it on pc or xbox, but it was real bad even back then.
