>>12616818Is it possible to have too many games? Has access to so many games trivialized them? The experience felt so much more special when there were fewer and you had to research what you wanted to buy.

>>12616831>and you had to research what you wanted to buy.You are a child.
>>12616818I know that feel, happens when I look at my Steam library too. It sucks.

>>12616818>not only having two games on your harddrive at oncengmi
I just woke up.Wake up, sleepyheads. It's time to look at your video games!
>wake up >get sleepy>work out>lunch>uh oh sleepy>lie in bed>nappy poo>wake up>collect energy needed to get out of bed>dinner>stare vacantly at whatever TV show, barely comprehend what's happening>try to work>get about 30 minutes of work done because mentally exhausted>post on 4chan instead>sleepy>lie in bed>eventually fall asleep>repeatMost days having the energy and mental alertness needed to play videogames is simply not there. Literal cancer patients seem to have more energy and cognitive power than I have.

>>12616831Yes. When you can have anything you appreciate nothing
>>12616818I have a hidden folder on my HDD called "_Storage". It's full of romsets and isos. I research games on the internet and old magazine scans. When I decide a game to play, i go to that folder, get the rom/iso, and copy it to the flashcard / internal storage of its original hardware. And just play that game to competition. If I really really like it like a 10/10, I might even purchase a legit physical copy. I purposely do this to avoid thinking about the opportunity cost of playing a game having full romsets or having analysis paralysis. Rinse and repeat

>>12616831>Is it possible to have too many games?Yeah when I was a kid growing up in the 90s/early 2000s I had like 5 games on GameBoy and 10 games on PS1. I think I played Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 9 all the way through at least twice each. I replayed Metal Gear Solid and MediEvil around a dozen times each as well since they were relatively quick to finish.
>>12616831No we're just old
I have all the games I could ever have wanted to play when I was younger. But now I'm too old to play them all. When I die someone will throw out my hdds with TBs worth of roms I've forgotten even exist.
I got banned
>>12618018>got bannedApparently my mobile data IP adress was banned for posting illegal porn on 4chanThat's crazy. I have no idea how that works, that's just not enough retro for me.
