What are some games you’ve beaten using a control method that isn’t commonly associated with that game?I watched the making of Biohazard and I noticed the developers at CAPCOM had it hooked up to some arcade cabinet. I beat it with a arcade stick and it works surprisingly well.
I have a one handed ASCII PSX pad I use for RPGs but I also played some NEW games with it. I also use an OG NES pad to emulate anything that requires few buttons including, the horror, Sega games

>>126176413d zelda on kbm. mouse for the camera and just forward for movement. works great

>>12617641I played through Soulcalibur on the Dreamcast with the fishing rod controller once
>>12617641I beat majora's mask and several other N64 games on my dad's laptop when he wasn't working. Keyboard only which even as a stupid kid I knew was not optimal. To make things worse it was Project 64 and I am pretty sure the game rarely was at a stable 20 fps. It dropped down to the single digits occasionally.
>>12617641I beat the Command and Conquer and Red Alert Playstation ports with the regular controller. I don't even remember if they had mouse support.
>>12617641I always play gta2 on PC and doom wads using a ps2-like gamepad

>>12619806>contrivedWhat's so contrived? You usually have 6 buttons and a 8 way stick on most arcade controllers.3D games were perfectly playable on a stick
