this game good? any tips for first playthrough? always avoided it because i thought it was a crpg but it's actually a diablo 2 clone so i want to check it out
>>12620441>this game good?Yeah.
>>12620441>this game good?Yep.
>>12620441It's good.
>>12620441CAN'T CARRY ANYMORE
All of the Snowblind engine games (Dark Alliance, Justice League and yes, even Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel) have aged incredibly wellAll the X-men Legends/Marvel Ultimate games are fucking SHIT
>>12620441By all means if you have a friend who's interested, play coop. You'll have a blast.
Too bad it doesn't have a PC port like Dark Alliance. That port is awesome, works flawlessly on a laptop from 2014. It doesn't even get properly hot, never seen such wizardry!
>>12620441>>12622901I love the first wave of Diablo 2 clones. They're nowhere near its level of polish but they're still fun to play through at least once.
>>12620441I found it tedious compared to Dark Alliance 1&2. I think i had a pure damage build so my hp and mana regen was really slow. So id charge in kill enemies and wait for hp to recharge and repeat. No wanting to use all my potions . I still havent tried Champions: return to arms
>>12620441It's the soulless trash version of the BG: Dark Alliance games. Not even co-op can save it.
>>12620521>weight-based inventory>instead of having a list there's a grid-based inventory with endless scrollingthey didn't think that one out
>>12620521it's even better in return to arms with the catman "conjuring" throwing axes from his "mana reserves">THERE'S NO PLACE TO PUT THAT
is the framerate supposed to tank in this section? whole game's been mostly 60 fps until this area. almost unplayable
>>12620441>pick warrior >pick skills to stack crits>pick nothing but str, crit dmg and crit chance>over %100 crit rate when skills are used>boss cut scenes keep telling me im a "puny human">shred them all in 3 seconds>beat the last boss in 5 secondsGood times.
>>12624334aside from abilities, how did you stack crit? so far i've only seen those whetstones that you can apply to weapons to increase crit but those are one-time use and also rare
>>12620441I think it's pretty dry without multiplayer
>>12624303PCSX2? Snowblind games have a "tank the framerate" spot like weirdly the space sections in the Justice League game
