I want to talk about shmups.What are your favorite ones?Also, what is the go to input device? I've been using my keyboard but I'm not to happy about it.

Been watching shmup tubers and checked my steam library for any and this is what I have so I'm grinding it out. Beat normal mode by the skin of my teeth and now I'm taking the month to 1cc it on the hardest difficulty. Definitely the hardest experience I've had in gaming so far. Anyone else?

If we're talking verticals, I enjoy Dodonpachi, Dangun Feveron, Vimana, Batsugun, Viper Phase 1 and the Raiden Fighters game.>Go to input deviceAnything with a functional dpad. For the moment it's an Anbernic RG406V, and when the dpad is broken in it'll be my R36 Ultra, because that 4 inch 720x720 screen is great for verticals and decent for horizontals. Otherwise, I'm on PC and it's keyboard or a Dualsense
