>JUST WHAT I NEEDED!!!!!!!
I really like the compressed sound(s).
>>12628670I was never annoyed by the gba remakes voices and I'm tired of people pretending they were a big deal
>>12628670if not for the vertical screen snap scrolling this would be the best version.now it is a tie between this and snes
>>12628701They’re not the end of the world, but why would I endure that when I could play the OG or the previous remaster?
the definitive way to play mario 2fight me
I refuse to play GBA Mario VS DK until someone makes a romhack that deletes those voices
>>12628743So do it you dumb fuck
>>12628670Is this a sequel to Deluxe and is that why we never got SMB 1 and 2JP as advance games?
>>12628743because in 2003 "playing the old releases" wasn't really an option, at least not conveniently.
>>12629482NES emulators existed in the 90s, I'm a zoomer and even I know this come on
>>12629487>not convenientlywhat exposes you as a zoomer is your belief that just because in hindsight you know such-and-such existed, then everyone in-period must've been aware of it as well. the average kid in the early 00s had no idea emulators existed, they were amazed at the one kid down the street who had a gameshark that let him get Mew in Pokemon. for the average kid back then, the only way to play an old game was to go to a pawn shop and find the old console + cart for sale.
>>12629493I think the thing that exposes me as a zoomer is the fact that I stated it in my fucking post
>>12629228There wasn't a "Super Mario Advance" entry for SMB1 or 2J, but the GBA got an NES Classics version of SMB1.Japan got Famicom Mini versions of SMB1 and SMB2J.
YIPPEEYAHOO
>>12629558Super Mario bros deluxe is basically super Mario advance zero.
>>12629548I think you're alright looking but not really my type.
>>12629548my point was, you didn't have to say it. I could tell
I need the losers doing decomp recomp whatevers to do the Super Mario Advance games. If it weren’t for their cropped screens and sketchy audio they would be the definitive versions of these games.
>THIS IS AS FAR AS YOU GO!>EE-YA-HA!>NOW I'M-A BOOGIE!Lines ingrained in my head for sure.
>>12629698How are they losers?
>>12629558>ORIGIN OF OUR TV GAMESSOVL>>12629570No, Deluxe was a great, feature rich remake unlike the Advance ports
>>12629727Don’t pretend like people decompiling Mario games online aren’t losers.
>>12629698>If it weren’t for their cropped screens and sketchy audioOh, you mean the only real difference between these ports and the All Stars versions/SNES originals?
>>12629493Nigga the dumbest little shit I knew had Nesticle on the PC he was only allowed to use an hour a day and that was in the late 90s. By the 2000s it was a common sight to see everyone running emulators in the school computer lab.The main draw of GBA ports was that you could play them whenever family dragged you on road trips or to a golf course or some bullshit, not that people had no idea how to play old games without them. Tech illiteracy is a modern problem.
>>12630178Advance 4 has all that E-reader stuff, which I guess you could rom hack into the SNES version if you're dedicated enough.
>>12630178Yeah dude. That’s the only difference. Haha. Yeah man. You’re smart.
>>12630478What the fuck is that supposed to mean.
>>12629184Would you say that such a romhack is just what you needed?
>>12628670Did people really hate the voices? I thought Mario Bros 3 on the GBA was the definitive way to play the game
