What's the highest ever Donkey Kong score recorded?
>>
>>12629030
You just want to talk about the lawsuit don't you
>>

69 ;^)

a lot
>>
>>12629030
1,272,800
>>12629267
Which would make no sense because the scores involved in that have long since been surpassed by people that had nothing to do with those events.

How the FUCK do you even do that much?
With all my might I barely can get to 100K

>There's a barcade in my city that had a Donkey Kong machine
>They added a custom PCB that plugged into the ROM chip that stored the scores even when the machine was powered off
>Some guy got ~128,000 points and was the top high score
>Made it my mission to beat it
>Go there sporadically, try for a year to beat it
>Closest I ever got was somewhere in the 90,000 range, always died on Lv 04 springs or immediately after
>Last time I went they rotated the machine out, so now I can never beat it
I'll never live it down. I actually recently threw some version of MAME on my N3DS with Donkey Kong on it to practice a bit. There's a few places in my city with those 60-in-1 arcade PCBs, and those seem to record the score even when the power is shut off.

Maybe man was never meant to beat that high score, but dammit he was meant to try.
