So when you beat the game, you just assume you changed the future for good. You don't assume there's any dbz dark timeline shit.When wind waker comes out, the game just tells you that ganon escaped but the hero didn't return. Nothing in this game suggests your playing a particular timeline.It's twilight princess that fucks everything up, because twilight princess existing alongside wind waker, requires branching multiverse string theory. Saria and the rest of them don't become sages, you see stained glass windows of them in Wind Waker, it was obviously set in the timeline Link left behind, and Majora's Mask continued after he returned to his own time.
