I am a thief now too. So the die is cast. I left poor Caius behind and am going around the island, counter-clockwise, on foot, only traveling back to Seyda Neen to stash my loot and lighten the load. I have a daedric bow and some sort of very high level paralyzing dagger that strikes very very fast and has a lot of charges. I also have a certain armor I got from a fellow Telvanni member, I waltzed right into his tower and levitated to his chamber and hid behind his wardrobe, picked the lock and got a super special armor with a nice constant effect. I am going to clean out every Telvanni house councellor because it's totally 100% within the rules. And I would have done it anyway.

Just from the sheer amount for swimming jumping and running I have been doing, I have become very powerful. I can jump around and strike things, hide, leap to the top of small hummocks and wait for a bit. I don't see any down side to lapping the island before doing the main quest. I will travel to Solstheim next and do the rest of that, next. I cut a quadrant into it but then got bored, no quests.

It's better than the newer games, and older ones. It's the sweet spot.
