Why is it that whenever I play retro games, I can't shake the feeling that I'm some kind of broke brownoid playing outdated stuff on his poorly hacked PS2 with a cheap, greasy AliExpress DualShock knockoff because he can't afford the latest consoles or releases... even though I'm white and I actually can afford them and could be playing new games, but choose to play retro instead? Is it because this board gives off that kind of vibe?

You COULD be playing the latest games, as for example, there are no retro Robocops as good as the new ones, but some games are irreplaceable and haven't been replaced.
