From what i remember the PS3 version is really stripped down. Pretty much just select a fighter and fight and that's it.
The PSP version got the same console treatment the other Tekkens got, in that there are extras and ending cut scenes and everything. If not for the shittier graphics it would be the definitive version by far but you can always upscale.

You can install it on a PS3 with cfw like any other game. It's a different pkg file than the non-online version. You need a PSN account signed in (or spoofed one) even to play it offline.
