I always found it weird that they made the mirror shield a post-game item
>>12639856Minish Cap has a lot of flaws and I never thought this was that much of an issue desu. Being able to miss kinstone fusions that lock you out of 100% completion is suicide fuel though. The volume of secrets is nice, but there's just something about the dungeons being piss easy that puts me off any repeat playthroughs. It's a fun 'play it through 100% once' kind of game, and even if you have a lot of nostalgia for the game it's not worth replaying much imo. Capcom's other Zeld games are pretty great though.
>>12640267the gashapon mechanic is also cancer
Zelda games always feel incredibly unrewarding to 100% anyway, this is no exception. The closest they ever got was all masks in MM, but even that is kinda underwhelming
capcom zelda games are like that. in the oracle games the master sword is a postgame item locked by a $35 paywall and requires finding a code in the second game to input into the first one.
>>12640387>the master sword is a postgame itemI'm almost positive it's supposed to be the Magical Sword from Zelda 1 (since Oracles started development as a Z1 remake) but Capcom decided to make it THE Master Sword for no good reason beyond fanservice.
>>12639856It's just an extra that didn't have much purpose. Might as well shove it in the post-game to make it feel more rewarding.
>>12640267>Minish Cap has a lot of flaws >and I never thought this was that much of an issue desu. It's pretty exemplary of why it's bad. The mirror shield has no reason to exist. There's no reason to do the sidequests. Shrinking down isn't used to its maximum potential. It's a short, repetitive, backtrack heavy, gimmick of a game.
The worst thing is I fucked myself out of the Light Arrows.

Can you randomize it into the mid game
