Out of sheer production quality, its a masterpiece. My Dreamcast and all of its original controllers work fucking perfectly and nothing has broken or worn down all this time.

As far as games? its literally just a console for arcade and fighting game nerds, everything else sucks dick for it.

Also the dpad is the shittiest dpad in gaming history. Even the n64 dpad is better.

Piracy on PS1 wasn't widespread. It was rare and hard to do, especially since you needed a modchip. Plus if you bought warranty for your PS1, you can kiss goodbye any chances of getting it repaired when you've opened the console to get it modded.
