I was always into shadow hearts, all three of them. I did not understand why people disliked 2 and 3. But i think time is changing and people start to see that the whole trilogy is actually fun!

>>12643797Loved the first one. Bought it at gamestop but the disc broke before I could beat it so I finally beat it a few years ago. Loved 2, bought it and beat it when it was new. After two playthroughs looked up shit online and found out I missed a bunch of shit so my third playthrough was with a guide. I enjoyed 3 but never finished it. Got through area 51 and a buddy asked to borrow it. That was like 18 years ago or something. Might pick it up soon
I played Koudelka earlier this year and immediately started Shadow Hearts afterward. I expected it to have the same tone as Koudelka, but instead I found a long, bloated game filled with too many anime tropes for my taste.The change in director really took the series in a different direction and atmosphere overall.
