As for me, it's the odd dream like feeling the IP manages to capture (more so in IMOQ). The OST and art direction just lean into this comfy fantasy setting that's hard to imitate. I actually don't think I've ever seen something manage to capture the same atmosphere these games had and it's hard to put your finger on why.
